Finding synonyms

Selenium includes a built-in thesaurus that allows you to easily find similar words using an online thesaurus.

To find a word's synonyms:

Step 1

Make sure you are connected to the Internet.

Step 2

Choose Window > Text Tools, or press Control Option T.

Step 3

A floating window will appear. Click the Thesaurus button on the gray bar beneath the window's toolbar, and enter a word to look up in the search field in the toolbar.

Step 4

Hit Return and wait.

A list of the word's synonyms will appear momentarily. Not all words have synonyms; if you receive a message stating "No synonyms found", make sure you spelled the word correctly.
